Murphy Yan

Murphy Yan is the site manager of our United Initiators location in Huaibei, China. Here, he is showing us a photo that was taken during the fare-well of his German colleagues who supported the start-up stage of the SPS unit in 2019. The fruits of this team's labors can be observed to this day, in the company’s continuous rapid development, which mirrors the personal value most dear to him.

Liu Tiantian

Liu Tiantian once started off her career at United Initiators Shanghai as a student intern. The student from back then is now a working mother in a lead position. Looking back on her professional journey of the past ten years, she praises "the great platform for development at United Initiators". This is underlined by the photo that Liu Tiantian is presenting to us, displaying her current role as the head of laboratory. It undoubtedly proves that her intern days are long gone.

Bret

Bret is the Employee Development Manager at our location in Elyria, Ohio, USA. Since his role requires working one-on-one with employees, being a people person is key. This is a personality trait that we not only value, but encourage in all of our staff. Bret is an integral part of building our culture and RESPECT values and has lived these in his own development story being promoted from Chemical Operator to Shift Supervisor to his current role. In this picture, Bret is leading a monthly safety meeting and comments: “I look forward to the safety meeting where everyone can get together.”

Niklas

Niklas is a true Pullach native. As a specialist in EMR he coordinates the maintenance work at our company headquarters. A task that never ceases to inspire him. The same goes for the working atmosphere at our company site. He envisions the future United Initiators to maintain the characteristics of a family business, no matter its growth. A tough one, in times of a pandemic. But Niklas is hopeful we'll "overcome social distancing, so everyone can come together again.

Cai Zhiyu

Cai Zhiyu is chief accountant at our location in Hefei, China. This photo shows him as the family man that he is - at dinner with his loved ones on a weekend. United Initiators is just another kind of family Initiators to him, and he has been loyal to us for more than 10 years now. To Cai Zhiyu these years are the driving motor that motivates him to contribute even more in the years to come.

Rickey

Collaboration and progress are the qualities most essential to Rickey in his work for our U.S. site in Helena, Arkansas. He doesn't relate this view to his workplace only, but has the big picture in mind. Rickey envisions the future United Initiators “engaged in the local classroom preparing the next Plant Manager, Technical Manager, and even the next AI Engineer.”

Wu Song

Wu Song is responsible for process optimization at our location in Hefei, China. In his role, he has achieved a leap in productivity by simplifying the electrolysis process. This picture shows him in his "rookie days" of working for United Initiators – just a few years ago. Since then, he has experienced a lot of personal growth, or in his own words: "What I have now – room to grow as well as an efficient and united team – is what most people dream of."
